Terms of use

These terms cover the GrowPls app for iPhone and Android and the growpls.app service, provided by the makers of agri.bot. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be read, not to trap you.

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that mailbox safe; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 13 to use GrowPls. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Your content

Everything you add, from plant names to photos to chat messages, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, including sending the relevant parts to our AI provider to answer your questions. Don't upload content you don't have the right to, or anything unlawful.

The AI assistant

The assistant gives general gardening guidance based on what you tell it and the photos you share. It can be wrong, it can't measure anything from a photo, and it isn't a substitute for a qualified horticulturist, vet or doctor. Treat its suggestions as suggestions, especially anything about plant toxicity, pesticides or edible plants. You're responsible for what you do with the advice.

Free plan and GrowPls Plus

The free plan includes unlimited plants, timeline, reminders and email digests, plus a monthly allowance of AI messages and identifications shown in the app. GrowPls Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID or Google Play account, that removes those AI limits subject to a generous fair-use cap.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription at that point unless cancelled.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions on Android. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Plus until the period you paid for ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.
• We may change prices for new periods; you'll always be told in advance and can cancel before it applies.

Fair use

Plus is for a person looking after their own plants. Automated use, resale, or usage that looks like a script rather than a gardener may be limited; the app tells you when a cap is reached and how to contact us if you need more.

Availability

We work to keep GrowPls up, but it's provided as-is and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We're not liable for losses arising from its use beyond what you paid us in the last 12 months, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.

Ending things

You can stop using GrowPls whenever you like and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms, and we'll tell you why.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app and update the date at the top. Continuing to use GrowPls after that means you accept the new terms.
